Hi! I’m Ash Weaver.

I'm an illustration artist and designer who lives in northern Virginia outside of Washington DC.

I earned my BFA from VCU Arts in Richmond, Virginia, where I studied communication arts. I began my career as a graphic designer working in DC while pursuing illustration on the side. After a few years, I was able to quit my day job and focus all my time on art and illustration. Now I'm working harder than ever but am excited to wake up each morning to do what I love.

My artwork is a combination of printmaking, digital art, and graphics for licensing. I am especially drawn towards symmetry, linework, patterns, and textures, and often incorporate those elements into my work. Lately, I have also been interested in folklore and magic, which have influenced my more recent works.

I addition to being an artist, I am also a mom and a lover of animals –– especially my two cats: Chloe and Toulouse.
